The Wind Turbine Users Forum (WTUF) was established to facilitate technical dialogue between companies with wind turbines, independent of OEMs. WTUF was established in 2026 connecting users across Australia and New Zealand.
WTUF provides the following services to its members
The services are provided on a membership fee basis. A single annual fee is levied on each member company – this covers staff participation at events including hospitality.
WTUF Australia can also facilitate other services on request including specialist technical training and consulting.

Connection to a peer group of wind turbine users operating similar equipment.
Confidential technical discussions and shared lessons learned independently of OEMs.
Communication with other users for emergency support on an as-needed basis (for example borrowing urgently needed spare parts during an outage).
Technical collaboration opportunities such as joint studies, trials of new parts and/or repair methods, or sharing previous project outcomes with other users.
Training and career development opportunities for aspiring wind turbine professionals.
